There have been great websites that have come before us, that have set the bar for all things domestic. They’re a great resource for just about everything, from recipes to floral arrangements for you wedding. When in doubt, we turn to them.
Where would we be without Martha? Vesta bought her first Martha Stewart Living at Christmas time in 2003, and she never looked back. Martha is our go-to for most things domestic, and her website does not disappoint. She is a constant inspiration and the reason we hope to one day have a crafts room.
We would be remiss not to mention Oprah. While she isn’t the first person we think of when it comes to cooking or cleaning (Martha is), she certainly has taught us a whole lot when it comes to overall lifestyle and living. You can get lost on her website for hours and walk away more knowledgeable about just about anything when you’re done.
While her 30-minute recipes don’t always take us only 30 minutes, we still really appreciate what Rachael Ray has done for many budding chefs, and that is make cooking accessible for nearly everyone. She’s taught us great shortcuts in the kitchen, fun recipes, and the word “sammies.”
