Pesto
Ingredients:
- 1 bunch fresh basil, cleaned with stems removed
- 1-2 garlic cloves, peeled
- ½ cup shelled walnuts
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp salt
- Olive oil
Directions:
In a food processor, chop basil, garlic, and walnuts until well combined. Add cheese and salt and mix well. Slowly drizzle olive oil, mixing well after each addition, until desired consistency is reached. Store in a dish covered with saran wrap, with the saran wrap pushed against the pesto.
