Jeweled Acorn Squash
Ingredients:

- 1 Acorn squash, halved and seeds scooped out
- 1 tblsp butter
- 2 tblsp brown sugar
- 1/4 apple, peeled and chopped
- Dried fruit (yellow and black raisins, dried cherries, cranberries, currants, etc.)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Place 1/2 of the butter in each half of the squash, then one tablespoon of sugar on top. Fill squash with apple and dried fruit. Wrap in aluminum foil and seal at top. Place on a baking sheet and bake until soft, about 45 minutes.
