Fudge Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients:

• 1 1-lb package of Domino Confectioners Sugar
• ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
• 3 – 4 tablespoons of whole milk
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla
• ¼ cup + 1tablespoon (5 tablespoons) unsweetened cocoa powder

Directions:

Beat butter in a mixer fitted with a paddle attachment (a hand mixer can also work) until smooth. Add half of the sugar slowly and beat until well mixed. Add milk and vanilla, alternating with remaining sugar until consistency is almost thick. Add cocoa and beat at a medium speed 1-2 minutes more until well mixed, scraping down the sides of the bowl. If needed, add more milk one tablespoon at a time until frosting is spreading consistency.

Makes enough for approximately 24 cupcakes.
