Alana's Favorite Coffee Cake

Wet Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup shortening
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 3 eggs

(Mix together but add eggs one at a time)

Dry Ingredients:

• 2 cups flour, sifted
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp baking soda

(Mix in a separate bowl)

• 8 oz sour cream

Directions:

Alternate mixing flour mixture and sour cream to egg/sugar mixture until completely combined.

In a separate small bowl, combine (be generous):

Filling Ingredients:

• 6 tbsp butter
• 1 cup brown sugar firmly packed
• 2 tsp cinnamon
• 1 cup of chopped walnuts

In a greased bundt pan, pour in half the batter, then all the brown sugar mixture. Then finally add the rest of your batter on top.

Bake at 350 for 50 min. Enjoy!
